Comment: An only species under Lucanus, occurring in South Korea is quite common in Gangwon-do, South Korea. Adults fly to the light at night. Males are in range of 30-70mm size in general.  Pictured specimens are my personal collection from Gangwon-do, South Korea, June 2013.

The correct name is ‘dybowski’. That is the original spelling in Parry 1873, and he used it in subsequent catalogs more than once.
