Distribution: Eastern and southern US southwards to northeastern Mexico. (Ratcliffe et al. 2013).

Collection Sites: Louisiana (Caddo Parish, Shreveport; Bossier Parish, Bossier City; Rapides Parish, Alexandria; Natchitoches Parish, Provencal; Natchitoches Parish, Natchitoches).

Description: English name is known as Rice Beetle, though they are not yet known to feed on rice or other crop plants. (Ratcliffe et al. 2013).
