Aegus laevicollis (Saunders, 1854)


Descriptions: An only species of genus Aegus occurring in southern South Korea, is very small sized and rarely collected. Known to occur in pine forest, and feed on dead pines. A detailed rearing information can be found in Korean language in Kim & Sung 2015 reference listed in the bottom.

Remark: Near Threatened species in Korean Red List.
